The family-run, historic, 1000 years old 4-star Hotel Steffner-Wallner is located in the historic centre of Mauterndorf in Salzburg’s Lungau region. It offers a restaurant with a sun terrace, a spa area, and free WiFi.
The rooms were renovated in autumn 2015 and feature wooden furniture and floors, sheep wool carpets, a flat-screen cable TV, and a bathroom.
The breakfast buffet serves a wide range of products from the region. We will gladly reserve a table for you in our á la carte restaurant.
Dogs are welcome on request (extra charge), but are not allowed in the breakfast room.
The free ski bus to the Großeck-Speiereck, Katschberg-Aineck, Fanningberg and Obertauern ski areas stops directly in front of Hotel Steffner-Wallner. A ski storage room with a heated ski boot dryer is available on site. From 01. June to 31. October: including LungauCard. This card offers many discounts as well as free admission to cable cars, public swimming pools and museums.
During summer, guided hiking and cycling tours are offered. A lockable garage with a drying room and a tool corner is available for motorcyclists and cyclists. The garden features deck chairs and sunshades.
A public outdoor pool is 300 metres away, and the Outdoor Park Lungau-Mariapfarr is 5 km away.
